MAC sticker by some younger dude and Alan Hager formally of defunct TPG Accugrade.

Been around for a few years, not sure if it's made any traction in the hobby being worth more than the adhesive?

Sad to say that as time goes by and prices go up the little things on coins will rate designations. Someone in another discussion posted that it looked like a major TPGS recognized three degrees of FH quarters. AFAIK, a coin is either FH or not. Remember, at one time when I started collecting, no one cared much about all the designations we have now including PL!

  • Whatever the meaning of the sticker, obverse looks pretty solid for the grade: solid strike for year, above average luster for grade, potentially eye appealing golden patina..

Agreed, back in the early eighty's I bought many PL Morgans, DMPL & Pl & Cameo PL's at no added cost. No one cared but me at the time

Same goes for the early '90's when I was buying AU-58 Barbers as AU.
    No one cared.

We're going to need bigger slabs or smaller stickers

All it means, that they agree with NGC's grade. ( I can't believe someone actually paid for a 3d grade second opinion)

:'( ........ Good topic! These "extra" sticker services are So un-needed! After CAC, anything else never quite gained a foothold in the industry. I respect competition but this is ridiculous!
