    @commoncents05. Incuse means it was somehow stamped? Or struck through some foreign object? I tend to not disagree with the experts but, here comes another (you). Honestly, I have a hard time understanding that this is somehow PMD and especially with the cut line that rides around most of the coin. With all that being said, and assuming it is not PMD, what do I do with it now? Is this something that would actually grade? Or would I just list it raw on Ebay? And would it be worth more than the cost of shipping?

    @ifthevamzarockin . No, I'm not sure actually and you may be on to something. Some areas look raised but some do not. Should I soak it in acetone?

    Don’t suppose it’s post mint damage. Playing issues or glue of the sort? Hard to tell. Just glanced at the photos but some do suggest the die had a part to play ****EDIT **Plating issues. I hate my keyboard

    Focus at the area near the bottom of the shield. If that line between the clear and rippled areas is raised then it is glue.

    As already mentioned, PMD

    Whether it's glue or a similar substance
    I can't tell from the photos........

    Glue doesn't always have that much of
    a 'wavy' effect, but I've seen close.

    It's probably a thinner 'glue' than we
    normally see, but it's not a mint error, imo.

    The best part is I'm not even done with this d++shbag cent. If glue comes off of it I'm gonna fix my neighbors yard tonight.

    @jmlanzaf . Just playing, I don't actually carry on like that anymore. I got too much skin in the game now but, once upon a time I remember darting through traffic one morning in my sporty lil' 280zx on the way to work cause everybody was going to slow, right. And I got in front of this one guy and there was plenty of room until he sped up. But, I came on over anyway and he started riding my ass and flipping me off so, I gave him a quick brake check at 70 down to about 15. Through the rear-view mirror I'll never for get that look of shock and disbelief in his face, looked like his soul was falling out of his body in slow motion, as his red station wagon was up on the front two wheels swaying from side to side.

    Anyway, I gave that zinc about a 20 min. soak and it seems very clear that is is in fact glue. Its cleaned up enough now to see the illusion of raised is actually sunken and raised is the glue around the original surface.
