    Very nice. I like the coin.

    My question is about the variety. I see that PCGS, as well as all of the other grading service, recognize this variety. So, I am wondering just how much does it add to the value of the coin?

    Doesn't really add much it seems. It's a low population VAM and has interesting history but people seem not to care much.

    I partially blame the "name change" that happened at PCGS. It used to be called "MS of satin proof dies" -much more descriptive- but now just "Polishing lines". One just sold on GC yesterday in an attributed 64 holder for no premium, it did have some minor strike-throughs on the obverse though.

    Thank you for the answer Chris. I have always been a big fan of Peace dollars but I've never thought to look for Vams. I only know half a dozen of the common Morgan Vams.
