Its funny how these go in spurts. You have found a few of these now. For awhile I was finding the 1F every few weeks
1H, maybe 64? Surprised I didn't see this one but then again I haven't been searching much lately.

MS63. No idea of the cherry pick.
I would say MS63... nice coin... no idea of VAM.... Good find if the price was right.... Cheers, RickO

ms 64 no clue on the cherry pick either
Very nice. I like the coin.
My question is about the variety. I see that PCGS, as well as all of the other grading service, recognize this variety. So, I am wondering just how much does it add to the value of the coin?
Doesn't really add much it seems. It's a low population VAM and has interesting history but people seem not to care much.
I partially blame the "name change" that happened at PCGS. It used to be called "MS of satin proof dies" -much more descriptive- but now just "Polishing lines". One just sold on GC yesterday in an attributed 64 holder for no premium, it did have some minor strike-throughs on the obverse though.

Thank you for the answer Chris. I have always been a big fan of Peace dollars but I've never thought to look for Vams. I only know half a dozen of the common Morgan Vams.
