AU58 based on your pics. If I saw it in hand I might grade it differently. Nice looking coin no matter what the assigned grade is. <3

    I see a really nice 58 there.

    Hmmm, AU50 - to MS68 supernova?

  • MattTheRileyMattTheRiley Posts: 806 ✭✭✭✭

    I'll say MS62

I would guess a 55 if I sent it in due to very slight wear in Liberty and several distinct dings both sides may have caught their attention if they had a rough week.

  • clarkbar04clarkbar04 Posts: 4,982 ✭✭✭✭✭

I don't see any wear but also not much luster, so i'm in with the 62 camp.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

MS63 I see for some reason...

  • lkeneficlkenefic Posts: 8,598 ✭✭✭✭✭

I'm on my phone, so image quality is likely an issue, but I'm seeing breaks in luster on the top of the crest, on Liberty's nose and chin... I'm going to say 55 or 58...

Perhaps I should have, but I didn’t even consider an AU grade. I’ll go with 62+. That said, the slightly fuzzy images give all guessers an out.😉

I am also in the 62 camp. I see no signs of wear. Not the best pics though😉

Alrighty..... here ya go. Thanks for playing.

In-hand it’s the nicest 62 I’ve seen....too nice !.....super minimal chatter around neck, largely clean main fields, good cheek, pretty luster and color. Yeah yeah yeah, ownership adds a point I got it.....sigh :sunglasses:

@SeattleSlammer So, I correctly guessed the Grade!! ;):#

I like the coin very much as an MS-62, because I think it has Choice Mint State (MS-63/64) Eye Appeal.

    Coin-Grats you’ve got a winner there!!😁👍👍

I graded it 62.8 but after listening to the John Albanese podcast I may never crack anything out again :o:'(
