Pretty coin, much tougher than an 1883 O.

I am one of those odd collectors who struggles to find a Morgan I like. This one I like.

I think the coin is a 65 but the location of that one mark right down the middle should keep it at 64 and thats what I voted. But id bet its in a 65+ holder. Using the psychology game 3tellasecret played on my thread tells me something interesting for the thread could only be if its overgraded.

Looks like a light graze in the frost on an otherwise perfect coin.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Too much going on for a 66, and nicer than most 64s out there.

    I’d vote for a 65, possibly a 65+
    I’m guessing it’s in a holder that reads 67 or 67+

Can't get past the obvious marks on the obverse. I think it's a really nice 64....

I didn't vote because I'm guessing it is graded 64+. It is a coin I would not buy unless priced as a 63 (Good Luck right?). That scrape in the obverse field may be worse than it looks in the image.

MS-66. I think it is a very clean cheek and the reverse is probably a grade above.

MS65 - too much chatter for 66 - look at reverse hi noon area for starters.

    Great looking regardless.

I’d like to keep this thread alive for those who still want to participate in the poll by guessing the grade.

However, to discretely inform those who have voted, (if they promise not to divulge the grade) 😉...

After voting in the Poll you can view the results. I’ll let you know that (as of now) the Plurality of voters got it right... 😁👍

We can discuss in more detail after I formally disclose the grade by posting it in the thread.

Thanks very much to the 61 forum members who have voted in the poll so far!! 😁
