If you disagree with someone, just type it in.....I DISAGREE. You don't even have to justify your response. Not a big deal. That button was overrated.
I DISAGREE.
What took you so long? I was waiting for that!!!!!

I think I've watched "The Simpsons" about six times and it always happens to be the episode where they're in shock therapy and short out the city!! do we really need that here?
How about a ROFLMAO button for the above Zen Archery master..
How about a dancing smiley

I remember how a bunch of thin-skinned members got all upset over people hitting the disagree button. It was amusing.
It was amusing for the first couple of threads, and then it became extremely annoying. It was almost like some sort of psychology experiment gone awry.
Yes, I am looking forward to the addition of the "Electric Shock" button
Is that the "dance mailman dance" button. Loved that scene in" Cheers". sorry, carry on.
My response would be I used rarely rarely, but thought that having it was appropriate when chosen sparingly.
Today, I've used "LOL" in place of it on rare occasion.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

If someone wants to “disagree” but can’t/won’t take the time to post/write the word (or copy and paste it), it must not be overly important.😉
For me, a bigger issue is that people don't read the threads before posting. So, how much effort should I spend crafting careful arguments that people ignore.
For people like @Insider2 who will engage, it is worth the effort. But so many people just plop a comment into a thread of the OP without reading the 2 pages of banter that followed.

One of my many problems is I enjoy arguing. It is the only way to change my opinion.
Another problem is replying to a discussion as soon as I come to something to comment on. Often, as I continue down the thread, it has already been said so I just wasted everyone's time.

...people?...weren’t you on the front lines bro? I recall you hitting ricko with just under a thousand of them in about 72 hours...all because he refers to toning as tarnish...you couldn’t have possible forgotten that right?
If by "just under a thousand" you mean about 5-10, then yes, I hit him with just under a thousand disagrees.

One can tell by the replies to this post that this is still a very touchy subject.
Bring it back so that all the little kiddies are warm and comfortable.
BUT........when used, require a reason for the difference of opinion.........otherwise it will not post.
Simple?
Unfortunately I don't think so.

I suggested that a long time ago. The perfect solution but it would probably cost money to alter the software.

I never knew it existed. I do kind of like Agree, Like, and LOL options.
It sort of is, though you could argue it is far more insulting than the simple "disagree"

I think that's true. Laughing AT you is worse than disagreeing WITH you.
Like Skip said, a reason would be appropriate, so that a person can know why there is a difference of opinion.
