1885 O Morgans

KnellKnell Posts: 456 ✭✭✭✭✭

I don't normally collect slabbed coins but I thought these were cool and I had to offer @ $30 each shipped from $40 each on eBay. Did I pay too much or just about right? I had to attached photos of them as group or else I would be attaching 10 photos of each showing obv & rev (I do have them photographed each). The coins do looks nice IMO.

Thanks.

The holder is not rare, but it’s still pretty cool. And $30-$40 is about right for the coins. You won’t become rich off them, but it’s a fair price for UNC Morgans in oddball slabs.

I like the holder, it is very prestigious.

Here's another odd slab I picked up. Maybe I should start a collection with these kind of odd slabs.

CoinVault, comes with a wallet type vinyl case & certificate...

    Accugrade...

    Thanks for looking and comments.

Very Nice...That's why it's called "coin collecting". Take care...

The CoinVault slab is a better one. Those aren’t as common and the only one I’ve had sold for around 3x the going rate of the coin (common UNC Walking Liberty).

It is also interesting that your coin was certified by INS. The one I had was not certified. As you can see on the reverse, it says they were not a grading service, but they would seal your coin in a slab and mention a grade from another company that did do grading.
