This is my first photocert. Picked it up only because I’ve never owned one.

On an unrelated note. I also got this for a deal. Should be a lot of fun.

Edited to add. These are illegal to sell in the U.S. I buy them whenever I can.

Love the Jarts, used to play that all the time as a kid, mostly at family gatherings at our cottage.

If they can't be sold, how did you buy them?

That does look like a pretty decent coin. Of course I don’t know if I graded it or not.

They were banned from being sold in the US in 1988. They can be found at yard sales from time to time , but retail stores cannot legally sell them. This store just didn’t know.

Funny thing, last time I found a set was up in Ohio where I also found a hand full of capped bust half dollars for real cheap.
Maybe they’re good luck for me.
Hoarding is no joke...maybe 6 sets is enough

You might think about re-submitting that coin as a proof, sure looks it, unless its the photo. Have somebody who is good /knowledgeable check this coin in hand??

Here’s about the best I can do with my cell phone. Although I’d love to snag a proof like that. I don’t think it is.

Thanks for the Lawn Dart info as I didn't know they got banned... Had a set as a kid and never heard of anyone getting hurt.

I caught a lawn dart on the top of the head back in the day...a gusher was struck that day. Maybe that is what is wrong with me...my wife says.
