Please be sure to give us a show report....bullion may be making a bit of a move....Cheers, RickO
I plan to be there on Friday before the weekend crowd. Pretty decent show - I usually find something - or two - or three to bring home.
It's also where I donate materials to their YN program.

Stop by and introduce yourself. I suspect you know who I am but I have no idea who you are!
I’ll be there
I heard that Andy and Barney are gonna come up and provide security

I'll try my best to get there, Fri. + Sat., if I can go.
Last year's show was good.
I noted that the dates of the show are INCORRECT in Numismatic News. It is NOT June 20-22.
Per the Raleigh Coin Club website it IS June 7-9 - doors open at 10 am.

I went to the show today - seemed to be well attended for a Friday morning. Lots to look at and many tempting offerings.
Picked up a nice 1809 Capped Bust half. If I get a chance I will image it and post it here.
Only had two hours, and barely finished a quick walk thru in that time.

Barney will be in the corner room at the Y.
They closed the Y in Downtown Raleigh several years ago. I think he now stays at the Holiday Inn Express.

But where is Andy? I heard they left gomer in charge for the weekend
HAPPY COLLECTING
This was my first time at the big Raleigh show. Spent about three hours there on Friday afternoon and was able to add five solid XF half cents to my Dansco.
Very well done!
Great half cents, and I think I know which dealer you visited, as one dealer had a superb consignment of them.
I was there for the latter half of Friday, and most of Saturday.
I tried on a few Charlotte & Carson City gold coin deals, but no go on all, as asking prices were not realistic per current market; and I did not try anything bullion this time.
It was all paper money deals for me, about $8k total, buy-sell-trade.
