Toned Barber Quarters From Collection

By request I will show my small barber collection. Its just three coins but they are pretty mighty, IMO. As always let me know your opinions whether positive or negative. All three were purchased from a member here.

"The Blue Beast". This is my avatar photo and the centerpiece of my collection. 1897 MS67+ Cac.

"The Blue Guardian". This is my only proof coin I own at the moment. 1895 MS67+ Cac. Perhaps it needs to be renamed, the green guardian. I can't decide what color it is. :)

This one isn't as special but I absolutely love it. Needs a name. First year 1892 MS66 Cac

Congratulations! As you obviously know, original/eye appealing Barber coinage is tough. I love the color and ultra gem surfaces. The first also looks like a luster bomb for this series, and I would not be surprised if it ends up in a 68 holder some day.

    Those are pretty spiffy!

Hmm not sure it would make 68. I think at that level it would be very tough to upgrade. And yeah that 1897 is most definately a luster bomb in hand.

As a Barber design lover...I approve. Fantastic colors and as near perfection as can be found in classic coins.

Beautiful coins! Which set of photos of the 1897 do you feel best represents the coin in hand?

All are FANTASTIC. I'm honestly not a huge fan of Proof Barber material, but the PF67+ 1895 may have just changed that. Wow. Wonderfully original coins. Thank you for sharing ... the Barber guys are going to freak out when they see this thread.

    Dave

Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.

I may need to use that name! Trying to decide if the reverse has enough fire.
