If you have a kid or grandkid in K-12
Given the Apollo 11 commemorative coins of this year, as well as the US Mint's "Rocket" holder, I think that anybody that has a kid or grandkid in K-12 might be interested in this. Basically, if they (well, the first 10,000 to do so) send a white postcard with their vision, either drawn or written, about millions of people living or working in space, to Blue Origin, then Blue Origin will send those postcards into space aboard their New Shepard rocket. The New Shepard is a suborbital rocket, but it does pass the Karman line, 100 km. in altitude, so it does reach space. Blue Origin will then return the postcard to that child.

Thanks @SkyMan passing this to my daughter for the grandchild.
Went over to the planetarium at a local school here the other night. They had a nice Apollo 11 presentation. One of the teachers got a hold of those moon rock and mineral samples. The ones that are in that thick, lucite disk. Interesting to examine......
Well that is a cool thing to do... and a really nice memento for kids interested in the space program. Cheers, RickO
Cool. Thanks for the link.
