D looks yes, s, not in my book.
I can't quite tell on that s if it's an unbroken separation lol, thanks
D yes, S no. Not sure it matters on those. What the heck is on the obverse? It looks like paint.

You mean on the s?? It is actually a rainbow tone on it,, but the angle I took the pic makes it look mostly red, on the other one it's mostly amber but it is a lil splotchy, and I know it's not necessarily relevant, but I was curious,, I know they aren't expensive though if that's what you meant
Both of the look like they have some kind of foreign substance on them. What is that white stuff that appears textured?

I suggest an acetone bath for both of these. May improve them.
All I see is flow lines that are "textured" but I will soak em tonight and see what happens lol
And please post the after pictures.
D - Yes
S - No (although the mm is nice and crisp)
(Your photos are getting better, too !)
D is yes.
S is no.
D yes. S close.
Yes on the D and no on the S.
Ok guys I dipped em for about 10 mins a side, there is some gross stuff left in the acetone,, and the coins look sweet now if I do say so myself

What does mm stand for??
Edit-- of course right after I post this I realize you meant mint mark, sry I'm tired lol
The "D" is a lock FB, the "S" is a coin flip.
I've seen worse in FB slabs.
Later, Paul.
The D is FB.... The S will be questionable... it does look FB in the magnified pictures... but barely. Cheers, RickO
Are you implying I should slab these? I didnt think they were really good enough?
Yes on the D Maybe on the S.
@SilverEagle420
What a difference!
Before (kind of looks like dried soap scum).

After.

That’s really up to you. There are so many ‘44-D Mercs. I’m implying that is a lock Full Band dime. As for the grade, I wouldn’t unless it can go a 7. Otherwise it’s up to you. Not sure about the other one.
Later, Paul.
I've had bad luck with mercs so I honestly couldnt slap a grade on the D,, its sparkly as hell in person though... theres a very light scuff in front of her mouth, but the back is very clean, 65s and higher are ok in the price range,, I'm into both for 14 ea
D is nice FB....S is a maybe like others have stated.
I wouldn't slab either one myself.
There both nice d is a lock fb the S is 50/50. They would look nice in a capital holder or a album etc
