One more 1915, this an pcgs ms66 1915-s which is hammered and kinda looks like a proof!
A monster piece from fresh dies to say the least
Compare the detail on this buffalo to the one right above and the 1915s wins!

I have never seen so much frost on any nickel as this 13 type 1 displays. It’s one of my favorite Buffs. Graded 66 if you can believe that. This one will hold its own against any 67 of the same date.
Great thread. Keep em coming.
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

One more-a 1916 with three legs! Unlike other 3 and 3 1/2 legged varieties this one is the result of a filled die.
I missed 1918!

I missed from 38-31😂. I’d love to put them up there but 🤷♂️
Edited to say your 16 is very attractive, I like it a lot.
Looks like we are at 15!

1914/3 PCGS MS64

A circulation strike and a proof.
A monster 1915 pcgs ms66 buff, such booming lustre on a business strike!!

As far as eye appeal goes this rivals any proof!!

Here is a real nice pcgs ms67 but I still like the above ms66 better because of its intense lustre.

Guess I'll start the 1914. here's a proof-
When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth, he will either quit being mistaken or cease to be honest....Abraham Lincoln
Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.....Mark Twain

MS67......another of my neighbors I had the pleasure of photographing!

Another raw buy. It has a very small clip.
Var 1 circulation strike, Var 1 proof, Var 2 proof.

Here's one I forgot to put with the 1914 group. 1914/13 Die One.

Did we skip over the 13 type 2 buffs?
This first one is Type 1, PR66 w/CAC. These were Matte Proofs, hence not the bright luster we love. This is on it's way to PCGS to get a TV.
This one is also Type 1, but is MS67+ w/CAC.

My understanding from Full Horn the OP is that while we can post any variety, the order is by date. I'm looking forward to seeing your 1913 Type 2

I posted one Var 2 above. But here's another '13 var 1, this one a 3 1/2 legged variety, not quite as nice as the one posted by buffnixx.

'13-D and S Var1. And it seems there is a shortage of 1913 Var 2 represented, so here's mine-
