My cousin’s vintage White’s Metal detector

He’s had this since the early 1970s. I’ve never seen this model before. Anyone on here use one?

    I had a Coinmaster 4 (IV) then. Loved that silver magnet.

    Yep... the old Goldmaster... contact White's... they may give you a trade in on the new model....It looks like it is in mint condition. Cheers, RickO

    That's a fun one -- thanks for posting it. Back in the early-mid 1980s I owned a new 5000-D (Series 1). This Goldmaster appears to be much older.

    I'm addicted to exonumia ... it is numismatic crack!

    I have that model I believe and the original paper work that came with it. I think it has like 3 discs and I found batteries at batteries plus but I'm not spending 65$ on 3 different sized batteries to to try it out.

    Collect raw morgans, walkers, mercs, SLQ, barber q. Looking at getting into earlier date coins pre 1900s.
