    AU55, cleaned yes, but I'm going to assume it's straight graded in the NGC holder.

    Easily in the AU50-53 range. I suspect it was once an attractive coin before someone chose to enhance it. Looks like this week's poster coin for what is truly wrong with the hobby. Based on the image only, a details grade seems appropriate. I tend to doubt that happened. So take a good look as it is a coin like this that has negative ramifications throughout numismatics.

    Some of the details in the photo were blurry. I had to check my glasses. Good luck assessing luster to distinguish between strike and wear.
