I decided to dedicate a whole wheat album full of toners about a year ago and just picked this guy up to replace the last toner.

Very interesting replacement ‘55 @dagingerbeasttt there are all kinds of things going on on the obverse, reverse, and probably the third side (edge).

I'm taking a hit on grade, but I dig the look of the improper alloy mix (woody) stirred in with the toning.

Be careful of those blue worm marks on the obverse... I have no idea what they are, but could result in some nasty corrosion.... maybe not... Cheers, RickO

The woodgrain toning is neat... but the thing I like best is the error reverse... a slight off center strike.

I think that's probably the coin being off center in the album hole.

That's correct, must have been the angle from which I took the photo
