I imaged everything yesterday.
I have the group slab shot now:

Here’s a preview, my type 1 Dollar:

Hopefully later today or tomorrow I’ll have them all edited into one picture.

I like your group picture and the one dollar coin picture. It's sweet that the dollar coin is in a rattler!

I'd change the group picture to have the coins in order, that is, start with the dollars and then work your way through them to the quarter eagles, the $3 coin, etc. Of course, that's probably just OCD on my part. And, regardless of how they are ordered, it's a nice set of coins. Indeed, it's sufficiently nice that it makes me think "I should try to accomplish this because it would make for an impressive set to show friends".

Normally I’d prefer all matching slabs, but I rather enjoy the mix of PCGS/NGC, new and old holders.

I'm thinking of assembling a similar set. I also like to find the tougher pieces first so it gets easier as I go along.

I'll be interested to hear @asheland 's answer to this. For me, the hardest were:

Type 2 gold dollar. I don't like mine, but finding a suitable replacement has been a multi-year endeavor. Most are poorly struck with mushy details or have blah luster.
$3 gold - lots of nice ones around, but expensive!
$10 - Zillions of these are around, but finding one with the right combination of clean surfaces, good luster, and an acceptable price is difficult. Even some at MS65 are too baggy for my taste and they tend to be rather expensive.

Cherrypicking AU58 coins with superb eye appeal is a great way to do this, but takes a surprising amount of effort.

Looks great. If you're going to keep at it, I'd suggest trying to get a good photo without the light reflection from the slabs. I'm working on my own 12 piece gold set now and don't have plans to crack them out so this is a great idea.

One thing that's special about my group is that I waited to find all of them in person, none were bought online.

I started the set with the type 1 dollar in the fall of 2016. I initially just bought it because it was really choice and in the rattler. I got it below wholesale too which was a no brainer! It wasn't until I found the $10 Indian and $10 liberty a week apart that I decided that perhaps the 12pc type set would be a fun idea.

The $10 Indian I initially got has since been upgraded, the current one being a 64... I also recently upgraded the 2.50 Liberty.

I didn't buy any of these coins with the plans to upgrade, but nicer coins came along and I don't regret doing it now..

@BryceM I am very happy with my type 2 dollar, I found many were exactly like you described. When I found mine, I knew this was the one! Nice luster, color and terrific strike! No clashing either which I found pleasant.

Interesting that there seems to be a trend toward presenting coins in older, more compact formats - where the pieces can better relate to one another than as separate slabbed coins.

Here is a quick cell phone photo. I need to polish out a couple of scratches in the slab.
