    Or re-grades or reconsideration would be my guess, with all those pluses. Hoping for a few to jump over to the next grade.

    I would say those were most likely already in 66+ holders, and they were resubbed looking for 67s. And they got one. And the upgrade easily pays for the whole lot, and then some.

    1900-o in 66 is $260. In 67 it is $2600. Pretty easy math.

    Most of the plus graded pieces I have seen have terrific toning. Since toning is always limited on gold, even when present, this probably explains it.

    I've thought about that. I have some of the strongest toned gold coins out there though, so I've thought if any had a shot at a plus, some of mine would.
