I like the one with fewer marks on it. But really, I have never liked 60 or even most 61 grades. A nice 58 is way more appealing in every way to me.

Too many marks on the obverse of the first one for me, including what looks like a pen or marker line.
Agree. AU58 1875-CC double eagles look pretty nice on Heritage Archives.

Number 2. It doesn’t win so much as number 1 loses. Can’t see past the black streak on the first one.
I think that the second one is much better!
I like the first one. Contact and other marks not placed in “” around focal point. Seems it would be easy for Restoration the two. Two has less skin to work with then one. Better original surface IMHO

Yeah, I see 3 coins, not 2, and I like the third by far the best.
Coin #3 has the best picture, but I think #2 is the best of the lot condition wise. It would be nice to see more illumination on #2 to make the best determination though.
The second would be my choice and it also looks to be PL.

I vote for #3. But when seriously comparing coins I like to cut and paste them into PowerPoint this way:

I lean to No.3. But I wouldn’t throw No.2 out of my collection. The obverse kills the first coin for me.
I agree, I would choose #3 of this grouping.
