Neat Lincoln Error. No glue! ;)

I bought this group at my local coin club meeting last night, along with several mint sets from '69-'73. Anyway, I believe this particular error to be a late stage capped die?,...However; it has an impression of the reverse on obverse which leaves me uncertain.

Error experts please chime in, or any other feedback. Thanks.

    Late-stage capped die strike. Those 2x2's are ancient, nice score.

    By looking at the light reverse design impression on the obverse, it seems to be a capped die error... Congrats on the interesting find..

    Dipping copper is not the best idea.

    They will get an acetone dip; but, unfortunately I can't do anything about the finger print. Not too bad but evident.

    Is the fingerprint on the coin or the plastic?

    I would not recommend getting it slabbed as previously mentioned, It's only a $30 - $50 error. Super cool!!

    Looks like it's from the early 80s. Is it copper?

    Edit: NM, it looks cp zinc.

    Thanks for comments all. @Hemispherical the print is on coin unfortunetly, and @GoldenEgg coin is copper alloy with weight at 3.07 grams.
