Horned Lincoln and Grease Strike-I think

The first one looks like Lincoln has horn from die breaks. The second one I think was struck thru grease, but I am not sure what all is going on with it.

    Very interesting.

    First one has lots if cracks. He also has a scar or some sort of spittle near his mouth. :o

    Second coin seems to have a lamination behind his head. Reverse is an interesting effect I haven't seen before.

    @Rooster1

    That is a cool reverse on the cent. Kind of reminds me of the pattern seen on some faux leather.

    Reverse looks like it was the target of a high-speed wire brush.

    That rev effect reminds me of feeder finger wear across the die. IMO. Peace Roy

    When these were struck, is the obverse or the reverse on the top side? Does the feeder finger pull the coins out of the die by raking across the coin or does it just feed the coins to the die?> @Namvet69 said:
