saving draft problem

davewesendavewesen Posts: 6,702 ✭✭✭✭✭

I start or respond to a post and every minute (it seems) my input does not enter because 'saving draft' shows up on lower right. A few words I am typing disappear somewhere, but not where I want them. Is there some way to turn this option off? Or limit it to every 30 minutes instead of every minute?

    Agree!
The "Draft Saved" popup is, IMO, the 2nd most annoying feature of the newest software.

The MOST annoying is the loss of the index box that used to list, alphabetically, all of the images we has ever uploaded here.

That happens to me also, along with sometimes when I hit the enter button to drop to a new line, the cursor stays in the same place but if you type it drops a line. If you hit enter again, it drops 2 lines. Weird.

I have often seen the 'draft' message appear... it is there right now as I type.... However, it has never caused me to lose a message, or any other problem. I just keep typing and then post the comment.... I use Google Chrome, not sure if that has anything to do with it... Cheers, RickO

I am using IE11 and every minute it pauses input as it saves draft. Maybe I will try chrome.

I'd mind the popup less if it didn't cover up the cursor

The image index box absence is a loss. If you don't have a link to the original image location you wind up uploading the same image again and again if you need to display it.

It still is annoying writing a response, and then reading it before posting thinking WHERE DID ALL THOSE LETTERS GO?

Nothing works right for me here. IE or Chrome, same thing.

Same thing here, although I use Firefox's browser.

I just thought the draft pop up was a feature smarter people than me used all the time. If it’s in my way I close it or it disappears on it’s own in a second or five.
