Storage... on the fence and need advice

Got a few coins that I am breaking from some proof sets.
Want to keep the remaining proof coins in a 2x2
Looking beyond standard cardboard/mylar 2x2's and shopping for acrylic alternatives.
1) Capsules... I have used them before. Solid but a unwieldy and leave no room for ID
2) 2x2 Acrylic snap
3) DIY slabs... in particular Coin World (or some other brand could be considered)
4) Mylar flips... My existing ones are just a PITA
Need opinion on option #2 and #3 and there longterm storage.
Thanks in advance...

Lots of options if you poke though here:

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
If they are non-silver coins why not just spend them and save the expense of storing them?

I’ve used Quadrum Intercept squares. The problem with these you have to buy them by mm size of the coin (similar to capsule sizing). If you had to you could custom re-size the hole with a sharp knife but making a perfect circle is a challenge.
Each of squares come in their own little zip lock baggies that will fit in a slot in our host’s box of 20.

I also use an impulse heat sealer as well to seal the flip.

Snap lock acrylics are a good way to store coins... but expensive. So I use them only for special coins....Cheers, RickO
I use the lighthouse 2x2 snaps they work well

It is very hard to improve on mylar 2x2s with good staples that pull the mylar tight across the coin.
I was hoping to get away from staples.
I will check any suppliers at the show for a hands on look/see

I love saflips, but man just look at them wrong and they get all scuffed up.
Collector, occasional seller
Hey Everyone I’m seeking some general advice on how to “Properly” store my collection
Don’t know if it matters but I’m in the New England area
About half of the collection is in a SDB and the other half is stored at home in a heavy safe. The graded stuff is kept in the blue boxes, mostly silver and gold coins of different denominations.
When I take the coins out of the safe the slabs are cold and fog up on the outside as they are coming into contact with warmer temps. Is this ok?
I don’t want to get down the road and find out I have not cared for my collection correctly🧐
