Good luck with your replacement! Hope you are up and running in no time. Fortunately for you (and everyone else) I will refrain from posting anything to do with my wee knee or any other of my knees :s

No not anytime soon. Next up is the left shoulder. Have had a complete right shoulder already done (easy peasy recovery on shoulders). Expect the knee will take some more time to get back up to speed.

That hog need a left front knee worse than me....Can't imagine it's still walking/standing!!

Wishing you a very speedy recovery. My doctor has been wanting to replace mine for the last 4 years
but I keep limping along....trying to put it off. But I hear that it is much better the last few years and
have you up and walling around really quick.

Doc said I'll be walking Monday afternoon and home on Tuesday.....oh my! Spent the last four years watching it go from good to really, really bad. Now I'll spend the next couple of months going from really, really bad to awesome again! Can't wait.

You’ll be like a teen given the keys to the car for the first time.

Try not to do too much too soon!

Left hip in 2011, right hip in 2017, left knee will be in 2020.

Best of luck to you. Technology has gotten to the point where we outlive our joints.

    Cheers

I wish you a speedy recovery.... People I know all say they wish they did it sooner (well, except one, but she is very heavy). I will refrain from posting a high knee.... ;) Cheers, RickO

Just be sure they replace the correct knee -- is it your left knee or the one on the surgeon's left has he/she is sawing away? Maybe an arrow and a sign saying "Cut here" ?

    Here’s one:

Just another day in the office around here. Surgery in the morning and walking in the afternoon - that's how we do it. Good luck & speedy recovery!

The procedure, pain control, and recovery from this is SO MUCH EASIER than it was even 5-10 years ago. PT sucks but stick to it and you’ll be doing great soon enough.

I had knee surgery 48 years ago when I was in the military. MUCH tougher back then and the army had NO mercy.

I wish you the best with this endeavor. Maybe I'll be able to find some more knees around here somewhere. If I can I'll post em. I'm more than sure it will not be my knees :D
