Well now, lets see if this stickering service is as successful as CAC

But I bet it will not get as many threads as CAC does on this forum...Just saying.

Oh no, not another one. I suppose we are too stupid to know whether a coin looks good or not.
Do we know the name(s) running this outfit?
I don't know if I can take any more of this.
Also funny that if you submit, you would hope that your coin gets a "black eye" seal.

Some of the cert numbers on the site bring up nice TrueViews.
I still can't believe they're for real, though. The site went up yesterday, right?
April fools is over.

No info on the principal owners or financial resources to back up their guarantee. Sure I will send all my $10,000 coins to them for a $100 sticker on each one.

A day late for an April Fool's joke?

Or for free, I can rely on my own criteria -- which is all I care about when I buy a coin.

I thought it was a day late for April Fools but if it is a joke, congrats on the serious effort.

Was that "stickering" or "snickering?"
"Eye Appeal Seal™ is a no-frills, no-nonsense certification service that places its seal on the slabs of exceptionally attractive and desirable coins already certified by NGC or PCGS. No fancy marketing, no pricey websites, no expensive advertisements. Just prestigious, value-increasing seals."

I think this is a day late.

It's definitely an April Fools Joke, imo
Tee em.

If I was to start a new service it would be a red-dot service. This small dot would be placed in the upper, right-hand corner of the green (or gold) CAC sticker if the coin met my stringent (but nebulous) criteria. This would therefore become a verification of the verification of the opinion of the original TPG graders, which, of course, had already been verified by the finalizer.
funny

Well, it this isn't an April 2nd day's joke RED is the last color I would use on an approval sticker...... Where I come from RED means "Defective" and "HOLD" for repair or more evaluation or SCRAP.
I'm with you man!!
That website hurt my eyes.
Also, I have my Product Manager hat on, and I really don't see what market problem they're trying to solve.
I would then have to add my HOOPEYE Superdupper dot on top of your dot as only one dot is not sufficient. My dot would have to be "Plum Crazy Purple" in honor of my favorite car,,,,,,, The Dodge Challenger.
Black Eye, Red Eye? Me thinks this must be a jest! Has anyone tried emailing them?
First, they need to use bigger font. Maybe size 72 or something. Second, this list is great. At once entirely general and then extremely specific. I love that someone spent any amount of time putting this together.

I actually sent the link to this site over to our UX team for a laugh, and it turns out this is a legit design style:

I am not a fan.
Whoever created this has some nerve for calling out CAC for doing a poor job, let me say that much...
If you know your coin has great eye appeal, send it to us. If not, don't. We will put stickers and charge you for them on all that you send us.
PS: we promise not to disagree with your eye appeal appeal.

"Our secret criteria are objective and down to a science." The conceptive of being both secret and objective to a science bothers me a lot. They have a repurchase guaranteee that says "The purchase price will be a top wholesale amount based on prevailing market conditions and solely determined by Eye Appeal Seal™using a fair, standard formula." Seems like if there is a fair standard formula, the formula should be stated.
Please no more of the sticker nonsense
eventually will go the road of the 50d nickel
Secret criteria. LOL
I was selling short on "denuclearization", but this seems an even better bet
And they won’t make ANY mistakes.
Clearly, they have found the secret formula.

CAC was never mentioned on their website........
My 2 year old granddaughter loves stickers.
If you send her the coins and stickers she will put them on for free.
April fools or not, it’s a bunch of hooey.

LOL...wouldn't it be a hoot if this was David Hall's and Bruce Willis's big come back tour.... I bet folks would be breaking necks to be the first in line...LOL
Ok, back to reality - is it phony or real and if real, who is behind it? I can tell you it cost someone some money to make those stickers they put on those slabs on Ebay. And that seems like a lot of effort just for a joke to me. Guess we will all have to stay tuned.

Well now... this 'sticker' field is getting crowded.... my blast white 'RickO Approved' sticker, the 'eye appeal' sticker, the CAC sticker....What next?
The size of the slab will have to be increased with a field for stickers.
Cheers, RickO
Are there any good slab sticker parodies out there? Funny photoshop jobs, etc?
That is a big sticker.
I wouldn’t go near this service for love nor money. Who are they? Qualifications? Ridiculous fees. Red flags 🚩
Cheers
Bob
Slabs are going to start looking like the helmets of talented Ohio State football players.
Very interesting! I did not think I would actually receive a reply!
So on April 2, I sent the following email:
I just received a reply today, April 4:
I should add that I still feel like this is an elaborate joke!
Got my hard laugh for the day😂
Thanks I needed that🤗

I think this sticker place is pure
