    I forgot to mention that lkeigwin imaged the coin and it is “spot on” with coin in hand!!

    Blowing up images reduced in size doesn't make for the best pictures. The detail gets fuzzy. Here are better ones.

    That does it ! I've always wanted a Slabbed Early Half since seeing so many sold raw at a local Auction during the mid 1970's. I used to think those things just didn't look real. The Stars were too crude looking and the overall look just screamed " C O U N T E R F E I T" !

    Knowing nothing about Counterfeits, I just avoided the Coins. But now with Slabbing out there, I need to dive in and pick up at least 1 .

    Any recommendations of Date , Condition, etc ? Of course I'd insist on a PCGS slab. A Rattler being the ultimate prize .

    Great looking bustie! Clean fields suggest she may have been put away (more likely sitting in a bank vault) long ago when unc or nearly so.
