Need help identifying this coin

Mount Holyoke museum has a large collection of coins claimed to be found along the silk roads,


I am currently identifying and logging any and all information on each individual coin but have come to ahead with this particular coin, my first thoughts were islamic but during research I am no longer sure, the styles could be Macedonian or even celtic/saxon. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

    The coin appears genuine. It just has some original encrustation/deposits on it still. Plus the original photos are a little pixelated so it looks a little weird.
