I received grades on my latest Dan Carr submission:
9 coins:
MS68 - 1
MS69 - 3
MS70 - 5
Medals, not "coins".
Actually only (2) pcs of this order are coins,,,,,, the rest are Medals.
When does an overstruck coin stop being a coin? I don't think this question has ever been answered but it could be of great importance regarding some of the Moonlight Mint issues.
Every time I open one of these Dan Carr threads I ask myself WTF?
So many gorgeous looking pieces but then I remind myself that buying all the Dan Carr products is kinda like buying all the US Mint products. It can get VERY Expensive and it's difficult to tell which one's are going to hold their value.
Those Peace Dollars look really really good!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
Trying to get every coin/medal/token just isn’t realistic. I’m only going to pursue those that appeal to me. I have a different mind set with these Carr’s. For the first time in my years of collecting, these are going to be for pure enjoyment only! They aren’t going to be locked in the safe and viewed as an investment. These are little works of art that I like to thumb through more than any other coins I have locked away. It’s actually refreshing to collect again without worrying about what my return on investment would be if I sold them.

DAN CARR collecting is addictive,,,,,,, I suggest that you join a 12 step program ASAP so you don't spend your entire paycheck every week pursuing all of his items.
It'a too late for me: save yourself before it's too late!
For those of you that collect dan carr’s Items, how collectsble are the poured bars. I know many collect the coins/ overstrike/ medals, but are the bars as desirable. I have a few of the owls, but not all.
The poured bars are different from struck bars are different from the various rounds. Each has it's special aspects. I don't discount any from the others. I can see the rounds as the most popular for various reasons. Struck bars next. Poured bars last because they are so different from the others and fewer different ones made.. I like them all. Others only go for one type. It's all good if you like what you like. If X poo poo's your choices, that's on them. There's enough diversity from Dan for most collectors. Don't let some one else affect your choices.

Reboot computer and try again.
I believe it may be a mysterious part of the Castle initiation process. Knowing the secret handshake helps. 😉
And FWIW, it still takes me two tries to login with my cellphone.
Successful BST transactions with forum members thebigeng, SPalladino, Zoidmeister, coin22lover, coinsarefun, jwitten, CommemKing.
Actually NONE of Dan's work are coins.
Tried the alternates?
Listen to the letters / Request another image
@Hemispherical
Yes, I tried the alternates. No audio comes up when I listen for the letters either.
