Picked up my first coin with a well known pedigree today...

I picked this up today. My first Uncirculated Half Dime and my first Eliasberg pedigree coin. It's an 1873-S housed in a PCGS OGH holder. The coin is not the most attractive, which normally is what would draw me to the coin. This one just said "take me home". I think it was the pedigree, but I'm not 100% sure. LOL

I wonder if I could change my name to Elias Berg. :)

Thank you everyone. I was so excited when I saw it in my dealers case. I was very surprised when he had also not added a premium for the pedigree. This was the first time I had seen an example that I could afford. So of course I had to take it. :)

"Take me HOME to STAY" coin @jtlee321 <3 Congratulation on your overall requisition ..... the holder and the label are definitely a PLUS PLUS to the wonderful rarity.

They always have the added premium for any promised "upside potential" that is mostly in their pockets first ;)

Maybe someday I will have a "Crazyhounddog Collection" coin. I really love that label PCGS came for you. I hope that each day is better than the day before for you and your family.
