Unable to edit, just freezes when I submit but wanted to add that I don't think I'd even ague if you said it was a 65, the strike is a bit weak though. I don't see the spots holding it back as much as people are saying here. I've seen ugly PD's in 4 and 5 holders.

I think 64. Don't like the black spots, but it seems to have very few marks.

Nice smooth cheek with typical weak hair detail. The reverse looks solid but the spots are distracting.
My guess is ms64+

The hair looks flat and worn. Maybe the strike. I do not collect Peace Dollars and am often wrong, but around the ear it just looks flat.

I see what everyone's seeing about the clean cheek and relatively clean fields. I also know the weakness in the hair is somewhat common on these. I just didn't like the spots and knocked the coin down for that and for the weakness (even though other graders don't always knock this issue down for weakness as I think they should).

Well, I am going to be the odd man out. I see it is in a NGC holder, but my 1st thought was an AU64 so I'll say AU58 nice looking coin. For me the color on the neck, cheek, hair over the ear and above the tiara.

The surfaces look incredibly clean. Since we're guessing not buying I'll take the high end: 66.

Surfaces are clean.
Weak strike as expected.
Luster is good.
Spotting is a drawback.
Maybe 64 ?
I myself don't like it overall.

Ah. The central hair detail (and the feather detail near the top of the leg) on the 1921 is almost universally flat on these. The areas I inspect for wear are the neck truncation, Liberty’s brow, sometimes the chin line, and on the reverse the point of the eagle’s wing and the high texture points in the eagle’s rock.

Thanks. I know the strike on these is weak. This one looks very weak. Otherwise pretty clean coin.
