I don't know if this is the most sanitary way to introduce my grandson to coins....if anything, he should get the bug though. I put a roll of 20 silver dollars on floor for him to play around with....He can thank Pop's later, right???? Hehe.

About 4 weeks ago we experienced the 'Polar Vortex', actual air temp was -21*

Found this old 1910s Baltimore area box with stamps on it I got at an auction for a dollar I also got that nice cedar box partially in the picture in the same lot and I made this lovely ebony box!
Here is one I painted. Fairly large at 36x26. It was a actual photo in Omni Magazine, it was the centerfold and had a seam and staples thru it. I liked it soo much I had to paint it. The photographer Marty Stouffer titled it "Phenomena" in 1979.

Original "Cheese of the Month Club" box, I love it! So as coin collectors we naturally take to box collecting also.
