I hate to ask this but....... is this a double die?

So I know we get asked this all the time on here and most of the time it's not even close..... but I was going though some coins I have had in the safe for a while preparing them for inventory and I came across this 09 vdb lincoln I've looked at my cherry picker and 3 other reference books and I believe it it but just wanted another opinion.
Double die or not???

Looks like strike doubling to me.
I Changed my answer after research. It looks a lot like DDO 001 http://www.varietyvista.com/01a LC Doubled Dies Vol 1/1909PDDO001.htm

Looks quite a bit like DDO #1
@COINS MAKE CENTS That is one heck of a cent!
In comparing what can be seen in the pics with Variety Vista and Coin Facts it looks like it. Depending on the state of the die there is die marker: On the reverse, there is a die crack left of the wheat to the rim at 9:30 (ref: Variety Vista). Cannot see it in your pic but would be nice to see a zoomed pic of that area.

Don't you be hesitate to ask for a genuine curiosity ....... looks like a real GEM to me
Hurray....DDO
That is the 1909 DDO-001
Nice find.
Yes.. that is a DDO... Congratulations... and I do see the reverse die crack when I magnify your picture...... Nice find. Cheers, RickO
The RTY in LIBERTY doesn't look the same to me.
DDO, and a nice one.
It looks alot like the doubled die for the year... But I do see some indications that give me some hesitation; the doubling on the date appears to be too wide, and there appears to be wide doubling on the upper inside of the date digits that do not seem to be on the coinfacts images. I see a die crack on the reverse, but looks to me to be in the wrong location. Also the 'RTY' in LIBERTY as mentioned by DIMEMAN. Bottom line for me... I I don't know for sure!
Looks the same to me. I think the angle of the photo to the coin might be making it look different.
100% 1909 VDB DDO#1 (FS-01-1909-101 (012)). Without closer inspection I can't tell for certain, but it looks like Stage D (Mid Die State) varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%201/1909PDDO001.htm The reverse die was changed due to die crack extending down the left wheat stalk. I think the RTY of Liberty looks different because the dies were beginning to wear down at this stage, and the doubling was less prevalent.
No, not a double die. But it most certainly is a doublED die!
It most certainly is a double die. I defy you to mint that cent with only a single die.
Yes, it is.

I yield to the majority who know about this variety. Good pick!
I really appreciate everyone's input on this. With all the combined expertise on this forum I figured it would get me to the answer! Thanks everyone!!!!!
HAPPY COLLECTING
Send it to Wiles. Maybe get credit for the die state. Good luck!

I will most likely send it in. The prices warrant t I guess although once I looked it up not as expensive as I would have thought
HAPPY COLLECTING
Nice piece, and I agree-definitely a DDO1

Believe he’s saying the correct term is “doubled die”, not “double die”.
He who knows he has enough is rich.
And I believe I was telling a joke
No-not joking. It just bugs me when I hear "Double Die." I was schooled on that myself over 30 years ago.
Double as in two dies (obverse and reverse) to coin.
