    Couple of thoughts...

Most 20th century issues are common and not valued high enough to interest auction houses.
Current catalog values are not indicative (they're too high) of actual market value.
There are counterfeits of the 1931 5 centavos, best to get that one certified.
Later dated silver is mostly valued as bullion unless slabbed in high (top pop) grades.

Drop a note to @Abuelo - he might have some insight.

The truth is that the vast majority of XX century issues are not going to attract any premium unless gem, and even there... That said, 5 and 2 cent bronze coins can be sold with some ease if >/= 65, good eye appeal. Same the large 10 and 20 cents. As far as silver, it is bullion unless again gem. Even some of the one pesos in 65 or 66 are so common, command no premium. Five and 10 silver pesos gem some premium, otherwise not even worth grading. So all depend on condition. But we are taking AU or low MS is not likely that are going to attract any buyers. The 1931, if not counterfeit and graded, that is worth money.

  • Thank you all for your input. I will be posting pictures tomorrow of some of them, including the 1931 5 centavos. I would hate to see the silver melted after surviving 100 years. I may have to rethink this.

I'm assuming the breaks between the dates within each denomination reflect different KM#'s? I might have some interest in some of the 1 & 5-centavo coins. Looking forward to the pics tomorrow. Thx!

You can also contact Duane Douglas https://www.elmundodelamoneda.com he is perhaps the largest dealer of Mexican coinage in Mexico. US dealers or collectors (both being grade conscious) will only be interested if the grades are really high:https://worldnumismatics.com/collecting-mexican-20th-century-coins/

    Are you still posting photos?

  • I added pictures to the original post. Not sure if that is the preferred way. More tomorrow.

  • I'm having issues posting pictures in a timely manner. More pictures will be posted today. I'm thinking it would be better to post each denomination in a seperate thread. Would that be ok?

Nice bunch of "little horses" you have there! That 1914 even in AU is a $1,500 coin. And the price doubles at MS62 level.

  • Hello, due to the number of coins I have and other reasons, I will be posting pictures by request. If there are any coins you would like to see I will gladly post them immediately. Thanks for understanding.

I have asked you for specific photos already. Will you please post them?

  • I sent this message to a gentleman just now but I thought I would fill everyone in.

Hello, I am having camera issues at the moment. I know that I must post images that will give the viewer an accurate depiction of each coin. I am getting a camera today to replace the one I was using. I am as frustrated as those of you who are waiting patiently. I just don't want to waste anyone's time by posting questionable images. WYSIWYG is my goal. This is quite an undertaking for me, and any advise would be welcomed. Thank you.
I will continue to move forward with this as best as I can.

  • Started posting on eBay today. Caballitos are first. Thank you all for putting up with me. I had never attempted anything like this. Thank you for giving me some good direction, although it took me awhile to realize this. Anyway some coins are up. I started a new discussion listing what is in active auction. And I have a feeling I'm about to learn a very expensive lesson.
