    Doug:

Where is this coin now? I ask because your pictures closely match a Gettysburg I had owned way back in the late 1980s.
The coin had a very strong strike with a semi-PL finish on both sides that strongly supported the toning, especially the pewter color on the reverse. I received very strong money for the coin but I do miss that coin.

    Mitchell,

I bought it at FUN this year. Paid strong for it too. The 67 does have a few little ticks in the fields. If you look at the largest TruView, you can see them, but they do not detract from the coin to me.

Yes, that particular coin did have a few very minute contact marks. However, the eye appeal of that coin was far superior to almost every other Gettysburg.

Doug, I saw this coin in hand at this year's FUN show last month. You're right, it is a KILLA!!! So beautiful on the obverse, like you wouldn't believe!

You are the owner of one of the most eye appealing Gettysburg's in existence. How's it feel?

I like the 67 a lot more than your 67+

I owned that coin for 8 years. It lived all of its life in a NGC 67 holder until recently. Could never figure out why it never got a star at NGC after multiple attempts. I’d guess the reverse. Bought it from Anaconda probably in 2009. The obverse is to die for. The fields are the coolest shade of blue. Enjoy! Brandon Kelly’s pics were amazing.

Here is an extra set of pics

The obverse is fantastic but the reverse is no slouch either. The cameo effect really makes the design pop. In my book this coin exudes character.

Hey thanks for the pics and glad to know it's ownership history. Seems to have a great following by board members back to the 90's!

I agree with everyone. Even though I wasn't looking to pick up a Gettysburg, I saw it at a table at FUN when I was browsing, and it just says WOW all over it. It was already in a PCGS holder at that time.
