Speaking of CAC......

I just had 3 boxes, 37 coins back from them. Did very well with most, 27/37 got the beans, Some great coins did not bean, a couple of which were mystifying because they were exactly the type of thing CAC always beans. Just goes to show that no system is perfect, even the green bean machine. I disagree with 5 of those that did not, I was surprised at 1 or 2 that did. Just goes to show that it is a subjective opinion, a very good one, but still an opinion. For the 5 I disagree with, they are part of my core collection of quarters so they are going nowhere and I still am happy with their acquisitions.
Here is an image after pulling them out of their boxes.

The 58+ on the Mercury is hard to get.
wow great sub! even better looking coins! What was the turnaround?
Any gold beans?
Cac killers include, "abrasions", substance issue.
All the cert numbers are new. Are they recently graded or were they regraded?
Probably better to call JA and discuss first tho he's always willing to give things a second look.
Give John a call. He'll explain. I've done it and understood his reasoning.
you did well, congrats on that one
Well you can't sell those pronged holder coins without a sticker as not even dealers will touch them...
So you might as well just do 10 GIVEAWAYS!

That's a nice looking group! I love the southern gold!

Send the five back with your next submission. CAC occasionally changes its opinion.
P.S. Congratulations on your results!
I just had 4/7 CAC and I'm pleased with that.
Turnaround right now is about 1 week at CAC, another week to ship back if you do registered mail.

No gold beans, was hoping for 1 but it did not happen, just green. HST, I have had 3 gold in the past, including the only Dahlonega quarter eagle until only recently.
Most of the time when I get no beans on bust coinage JA says its an 'old cleaning'. They also don't like coins where the toning/surfaces are different on each side, and they generally are very hard on blast white coins. I knew all of that going in, so I know why 8 of 10 did not bean, but 2 of them were mystifying as they look exactly like CAC coins.

Good eye, the ones shown were NGC, and then crossed to PCGS, then sent to CAC - dimes and gold, my last NGC coins.

Yes I have had a couple get reconsidered and upgraded to beans. I don't know about all 5 but maybe 2 or 3 I might do that with a special note. Usually you get a note back from JA on why he won't bean them if you do that and they don't bean the 2nd time.

Nice submission and results.... If you find out what prevented the two coins, please let us know and if then can accept the decision.... Cheers, RickO
