I picked up one of these in a PCGS PR69 holder at a show - brightest proof I've ever seen. The dealer said he wanted 850 for it. Incredulously I asked, $850.00? He said no, $8.50. I asked if he would take $8. Best buy I ever made.

every coin has a price in a guide, but who and when is someone going to pay that price?? being honest, who in this thread would pay $80 for that coin?? the OP got what he judged to be a nice coin for a reasonable price but I really doubt any collector would pay the $80.

eBay sales range from $70-$100 with multiples selling for $80 or more. So quite a few people, including collectors are paying that much. Take off the eBay fees and someone would likely pay $60-$80 at a show or in a shop.
