Nice coin.... I check my change for them... no luck so far. Probably have one in my jars of coins, but have been too busy (for years) to check them ..... Cheers, RickO
Was in the library, and saw an article in Coin World or some other publication about its discovery. Drove about three blocks to the local coin store.
Me..."Hey dealer... you got any 1995 DDO Lincoln's?"
Dealer... "No, and you might want to wait for them to come down in price. You ought to buy a Morgan yada, yada, yada..."
Me... "Let me think about it"
Drove back to library and got information from an advert and bought three of the rascals via mail order... $200 each
Sold them in 2015 for about $10 each on Ebay.
I remember in the 90's when they were several hundred dollars each, I was checking rolls for them but never found one. I figured this one, in the older holder 15 years old has stable color and for $75, why not!?
I pulled about half a dozen out of Mint rolls in Feb 1995, I was lucky enough to live near one of the pockets where they were released. I sold all but two on a local shop's bid board. I wish I had thought to certify the nicest ones when the frenzy was at its peak. Hard to believe that was nearly 25 years ago.

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

I had one that looked just like it. Too bad I sold it.
I have one in PCGS MS66 and a raw one I have had for nearly 20 years now.
Nice one!
Collector, occasional seller
sure nice and red. I don't see any doubling on my monitor but I agree that it's a nice one.
