Anyone know of a dedicated safe alarm?

I want to alarm the safe itself. Anyone familiar with such a device or system?
I found this device but I'm not 100% sold on it: https://www.deansafe.com/gun-safe-alarm.html

There are several available (google 'safe alarms').... Though the liberty system seems to be quite adequate..... What features are you looking for that it does not have?? Cheers, RickO
If an alarm isn't monitored by anyone who can call the cops, it's useless.
A lot of the alarms sound when the door is opened but I think you would also need it to detect movement of the safe.
No matter how heavy or secure you think it is.................remember you moved it into your house [or wherever] so it CAN be moved out.

If safe removal or movement is your concern you can use a standard door/window alarm sensor. Half attached to the safe, the other half attached to the structure so that it is in the "closed" position, but if the safe is moved it then "opens" and triggers the alarm panel. Put the sensor where it's not visible so thieves won't know it's there to attempt to defeat it.

Maybe you should just put one of the Ring security doorbells on it which are motion activated right to your phone.
Then you can yell at the burglar and tell him don't bother there's just dreck in it.
Video alarm in the safe room would be perfect.....they can notify you via phones from what I hear. Here's a link to get you started shopping (ebay not mine).

I wanted to comparison shop but I haven't found any others, so I figured I'd ask here.

I would want pics of the perps that opened my safe door.
My Ring cameras will get the "before" pics....... Before they get in and mauled by the dogs.

No need for an alarm since someone is always home.
Check out wyze cams. I love mine. You can put one aimed at your safe, and it will alert your phone if there is motion detected. It will also take a video of the motion. And it's only $25 shipped (last I checked). No subscription fees, etc, like nest has. www.wyzecam.com
I think one needs to contemplate safety for oneself as well.
Simple things like longer screws in the door locks and frame for example. Buys time during home invasion.
I always thought that slabs with GPS "find your iphone" type technology would be great.
If they can scan a chip in the ear of my cat and know that I am her owner... there has got to be ways beyond the basic alarms and safes.
Scan a slab and know if it is stolen
There was a guy on YT that built a room with rebar and concrete for his baseball collection.
Maybe incorporate a safe room.
Still... none of this is something a gun to the head cannot open.

I would think anyone with a stolen slabbed coin of any real value would have cracked it out, re-submitted and have a new slab and number. Kinda like money laundering.
The options are boundless. When you say you want to alarm the safe itself, can you be specific. Do you want a trigger when it's opened or an alarm when its moved or stolen or both. You can install a pressure alarm on the floor in the event someone approaches the safe. You can install a tracking device inside the safe. You can use an interlock switch inside the frame like previously mentioned. You can install a camera system that will trigger an alarm or anything you want . What are you trying to accomplish? Me, I would install a super high volume sound system that would generate an awful racket, a box over the safe containing one of those paint explosive packages like banks use, and a big banner that would drop down and in bold print say "THE COPS ARE ON THE WAY, YOUR PICTURES HAVE BEEN TAKEN, TRACKING DEVICES HAVE BEEN PLACED ON YOU AND AN INCURABLE AIR TRANSFERRED DISEASE HAS BEEN RELEASED IN THE ROOM. TAKE WHAT YOU WANT. YOU WON'T LIVE LONG ENOUGH TO ENJOY ANY OF IT. HA! HA! HA! HA !

Hi Bob, Actually I'm looking for what's out there as far as protecting only the safe. Tampering, etc.
However I REALLY like the dye pack idea!

So for $1000 - $ 10,000 a good home security system with motion detectors in the room is sufficient.
For $10,000-$100,000 proximity detector added to good home security.
For $100,000 up, motion detector plus heat detector with interlock ( similar to window ) detector.
All the above are inexpensive add-ons to a good home security system, all are readily available. Many of these can be purchased for wireless installation.
As a personal aside comment.
Burglars rely on stealth and intimidation. In the event you are home during an event, you don't want to trap burglars inside with you. An alarm system can be arranged to trigger a number of responses. Really LOUD noises and flashing lights powerful enough to alert neighbors 2 blocks away is your greatest deterent. Burglars know a police or security service will take more than 5 min to respond to a residential break-in. But neighborhood's intervention is immediate. Whistles and sirens are Ok but not intimidating. A voice recorder shouting inside and outside saying HELP BURGLARS AT (ADDRESS)
CALL THE POLICE , REPEAT, REPEAT,) loop, when this is projected at 120 Db I guarantee no one is going to stick around.

one of the most effective deterrent is, IMO, a series of high speed LED strobe lights run
a: primary power source with several different battery circuits a back ups..
this system can be actuated by a vast source of events. (sensors, mirco switches, magnetic sensors etc etc.)
have you ever gone in to a club where they use strobe lights? then you understand the power of those.
if anyone tampers with your BOLTED DOWN safe (SS or titanium Bolts) and tripp a sensor, the strobes will start and close to blind any burgular, even through goggles.
also a fog machine which produces thick fog throughout the room in seconds can be attached.
at the same time, with a short delay, another HV circuit is being energized which produces electric short arcs as soon as the safe is touched. No thief will hang around.
this is NOT utopia. Because of battery back up, it will work during a power failure.
