Coin-related larceny at home today, pix of suspects

OnWithTheHuntOnWithTheHunt Posts: 1,270 ✭✭✭✭✭

Disassembled my photo setup today while I went to pick up a new lens. Came back and my shutter release cord was missing. Still looking for it. Here are the two suspects.

Make sure once you find it, take paw prints to determine the guilty party !!! :'(

It's not really theft if they were only hiding it in the litter box for safekeeping.

Then again, you may find a mouse dangling by the cord. Suicide or murder? We may never know.

They may be holding the shutter release cord hostage until you come up with a specified quantity of catnip for ransom. :)

In my previous life, obtaining confessions yielded results most of the time. Sweat em under the lights too.

Well, it appears you need PROTECTION.

This is a picture of my wife in the shower.

The collies hate the shower, and know the shower monster will attack MOM if they do not guard her, so when she takes a shower, they line up in the bathroom to defend her. So far, so good, the shower monster has not attacked.

Both of my cats have been known to make a mess by knocking papers or receipts on the floor if they can see the bottom of their dry food bowl to get my attention. I wish I was lucky enough to have cats that only stole a cord. They leave charging cables etc alone.

But elastics?!? I literally have them in a locked drawer and have to account for every one that comes in the house. Seeing an elastic in the litter box as part of a poop put me on alert fast and hard. I am glad it passed without incident. I can’t imagine the damage and twisting and complications an elastic could do to any animal or humans stomach or digestive tract.

They are innocent. They have an alibi. They were with "Penny" the Penny Lady's cat.

My cats like to purloin socks....Not much of an issue for me, I stick to one type and color...however, my wife likes different colors and patterns... There are still four socks without partners...have searched all over... I am sure one day they will be found in some weird spot.... Cheers, RickO

Any place that the toys can fit under, or behind, but the cats cant becomes an accumulation point. Under the fridge and oven and behind the china cabinet are spots we usually find lots of lost kitty toys.

The only jurisdiction over them is in a kangaroo court.
