The currency has to run its course as auction the coins I can pull down for the stated prices as long as they have no bids. I only accept paypal for payment.

I was just playing with you I think they want these type post in the BST area. That would be the Buy Sell Trade section. But it’s late most people are asleep . I am in Alaska it’s still early here.

I figured as much. I moved them to the BST area. I was exhausted when I put these up on the boards

The BST is a good venue... no fees and good sellers/customers. Purchased several coins there...always happy with the transactions. Cheers, RickO

If it's any consolation you are hardly the first one to to err that way and you won't be the last. Welcome aboard.

Of course that is a clear violation of eBay policies.

Who cares, I see stuff with no bids get pulled off eBay all the time. That crap isn't enforceable in a court of law at all.

If you see something for sale on my eBay account you like, please, please, please, please, please contact me off eBay and save us both some money.

Actually, eBay does try to police it. I also think they should try to police it. The equivalent is me coming to your house and eating out of your refrigerator for free. You want to use eBay, pay them their reasonable fees. Otherwise, the rest of us are footing the bill for you freeloaders.

"save us both some money" could also be read as "steal some money from eBay".

The reality is everything I post for sale on eBay is for sale elsewhere. They don't have a monopoly on my listings, and nothing I've ever seen in their ToS gives them that. It's not stealing when my prices are different elsewhere and you choose to pay less somewhere else thanks to eBay's fees.

It's one thing if I sit there and only list stuff on eBay, but I don't do that, nor do an increasing amount of sellers.

I agree with you about multiple listing sites. That's not, to my mind, an issue. HOWEVER, you do essentially contract with eBay for services. But, even if we ignore that, the specific case here isn't a question of someone finding it on Amazon and buying it there. The seller here is using eBay to advertise and then intentionally soliciting buyers to avoid purchasing on eBay.

Some people are actually smart and know how to use google to find and contact me. I also have no problem selling off ebay when someone figures out how to contact me. What I hate are the idiots that still try to do it using the ebay messaging system. There's a member here that has done numerous times even after being told over and over again not to do it!

PS, I have no problem doing it since I pay for my store and listing fees. I've always felt it should be one or the other....charge for the listing or charge a FVF. I'm sure the listing fees cover their expenses at a profit. Now all the other crap they do maybe not.
