Lincoln's Ear

Trying to figure out what Lincoln's ear is supposed to look like. Should the obverse side of Lincoln Pennies vary other than mintmark and date? Maybe it is just worn, and that shows when magnified, but his ears look different to me at least in all three of these images. Let me know what you think. Thanks

They are 2009, 2014and 2011 going down.

Lincoln's profile has been "touched up" a number of times over the almost 110 years he's been on the cent. The differences you're seeing here are due to the decision in 2010 to restore the design to a closer approximation of the original design from 1909. The 2009 cent is the year before this change, and doesn't seek to as faithfully recreate Victor D. Brenner's original version as the post-2010 issues.

Thanks. Then I guess I had better just look at the years that specifically had an ear error to familiarize myself with what the ear is supposed to look like. Thanks again!
