I have to double check the posted year...making sure its not from 1999.
I've been getting a weird message thru Google Chrome saying they need to check the connection yo pcgs.com before they connect me.
Me also too as well.
Don’t have AOL but Prodigy and Compuserve seem to be working fine.
Latin American Collection
Me too. Using my android phone or my iPad I get the same message.

AOL still exists?
I do get this momentarily before accessing parts of pcgs.com

Collector, occasional seller
Sometimes the string connecting my tin can with PCGS's tin can gets tangled, and i can't hear their voice as well.

Don't worry, must have put a new deck of cards in the old baby. Up and running just fine now.
AOL is still around? Really??

I think your free trial expired. Better go get you a new CD!

Same here. Started about a week ago.
I also got it on a PC with IE. So I wonder if it is PCGS that is doing the screening of the browsers being used to access its site.
Maybe AWOL is not recognized. They'll do a retro slab but not a retro browser?
It is. No AOHELL software on my computer tho.
almost on line
NetZero working well for me...
It is a protective layer to make sure your browser isn't attacking the site. See this page:
a2hosting:How to use Cloudflare to help defend against DDoS attacks
A ddos attack is a "Distributed Denial of Service" attack where hundred or thousands (or more) of browsers/net appliences can be coordinated to attack a site and overload the servers, thus, a denial of service.
If you want to know how this could happen, google "botnet"...
It's getting worse - just now I had to do a "captcha" thing where you select relevant images from a series of pictures. That is some heavy duty security being deployed. I wonder if it is preemptive or if there was an attack.
LOL. Back in ‘84 I had a 75 Baud modem, upgraded to 300, then 1200, 2400 in the next year or 2. I would call a BBS before school, start a download of something we can access today in a nanosecond, and it might be finished by the time I got home from school. Thank god for advances in technology.
I too get the Cloudflare message posted above though. Pretty sure it’s a browser feature from a recent upgrade, since I saw it on a few sites today, not just here.

Cloudflare rerouting and occasional captcha are temporary as we work through a few tech things. Site should be functioning normally otherwise.

Smart ass comments aside it might because they introduced cloudflares DDoS ??
Otherwise no idea. I can’t imagine how many people use AOL anymore.
Update: I think their cloud flare security setting is too high. I can’t submit coins because it’s freaking out at the credit card section. I know our ip is not on a blacklist.
@PCGSDev ?
My Type Set & My Complete Proof Nickel Set!
Are you using coal to fire the boiler on your modem?
Getting worse for me too.
I can't connect to my grading results on my phone Keri dating error too. I have the above issues as well. I'm using android phone.
They must have messed up their cloudflare settings. That’s all I can think of.
My Type Set & My Complete Proof Nickel Set!
I'd imagine your having trouble connecting to anything using AOL lol
WebTV is fine.
