Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Dan Marino, just when you thought he'd get sacked he completed a pass.
Joe Montana, just when you thought he'd get sacked he ran towards the sideline and completed a pass.
John Elway, see Joe Montana.
Bernie Kosar, just when you KNEW he'd get sacked he side-armed it for a completion.
Warren Moon, because he threw the most beautiful spirals I have ever seen, no wounded ducks from him.
Roger Staubach
Troy Aikman
Tom Brady
Joe Montana
Danny White
Dan Marino
Dan Fouts
John Elway
Brett Farve
Broadway Joe
Honorable Mention......Dak Prescott......I hope!
jeff george when he was on the other team
Aaron Rogers on celebrity Jeopardy

Montana tops my GOAT lsit but i never really thought of his play as exciting. More as efficient.

Favre
Elway
Fouts
Marino
Kelly
Any list that does not include Brady is a joke.
You just had an other example of his kind of excitement against the Chiefs a little less than 2 weeks ago.
Agree. He is such a surgeon that some people seem to take him for granted or just have a deep resentment ( to Brady and or the Pats)

He is on my list. No one else listed him......not even Mark!!
I didn’t list him because it’s obvious that he is my favorite player ever but when the OP said “exciting” player I think of a guy who is going to run for it on 3rd and 15 and get it. If we are talking exciting to watch a drive to win a football game then it’s Brady without question
these were the first two who came to my mind
Okay, let me redo it.
Good list! Tarkenton was an unbelievable scrambler.
dan marino
tom brady
steve young
john elway
joe montana
randall cunningham
jim kelly
warren moon
brett favre

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
I hate to do this but I have to say Elway. I watched him a lot against the Chiefs and a lot of times
when pressure came he would manage to avoid a sack, scramble around outside the pocket, and
then either complete a 35 yard pass or take off and run for 35 yards.
And this was back in the Marty Schottenheimer years when the Chiefs had a good defense.
Marty never got the credit he deserved. IMO
