1946-D Washington RPM DDD, unknown variety?

Any help on this is appreciated. I believe I'm safe to call this a DDD. I can't any information regarding this variety and I'm curious if anyone remembers ever seeing it before? Thanks is advance....

D/D and ejection doubling
Congrats nice find. It appears to me to match the picture in James Wiles Volume 3 RPM-002 But in his comments he says it shows a die crack from US of PLURIBUS to Wing LDS I do not see that in your picture but could be an early die state. I would almost send it off to James.

Thanks Tom, you're right, this is a spot on match, down to the die scratches. I had missed this variety in the Variety Vista Volume 2 but it is in there and with a pic of an EDS or MDS without the die crack. Having not seen this I had actually emailed Tom last night with these same pictures and thought I'd reach out to the CU brethren in the meantime.

Nice... get it attributed.... there does seem to be something on the top curve of the S in Pluribus... not sure what to call it though, does not look like a crack...Cheers, RickO
