Maybe young Lincoln in his teenage years going through puberty.
Either gas bubbles or poor planchet surface. IMO

Nasty plating issue... When I was in an industry that did gold, silver, copper and lead plating, this would have been a reject. Mint standards are evidently not so stringent. Cheers, RickO
