Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
tough to take part from Canada on Vancouver island...
big show in Calgary coming up later in the year
Getting into Vegas is cheap. Getting out is expensive!
especially when the house took your shirt (and pants)

Sounds like a fun coin trip--the Summer Seminars are such a great experience as well. Haven't been in years, and would like to make it back (one day.)
Road trip to Colorado paints this visual...
The drive from Colorado Springs to Las Vegas is one of the best drives in the country, You can go through Moab or Durango. I don't think your schedule makes time for the drive, though.
Can I use a 9 iron for this drive, or does it need a "Big Bertha" driver?

Would love to.... especially Summer Seminar, but I don't think it's doable , this year. My life story !
What are you teaching?
Tom
Nothing. I’ll be a student.

I'm pretty sure I'll be there at ANA for the second week--be fun to hang out!
Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
That's what I was going to ask. What course are you taking?
Good for you. It never ceases to amaze me, across all industries and professions, that the best folks in the business continue to seek to learn.
Tom
Sorry. Fishing in Canada for two weeks. Primitive. Hard to get to, bring your own food and water, no phone or internet, etc. You and your puppy would love it!

In Colorado Springs, make sure you stop by and pay your respects to Doc Holiday, who's buried in the Lynwood Cemetery.
Yeah, either way. Going through Durango will take you down the Million Dollar Highway, then by Mesa Verde, Four Corners and Grand Canyon.
Going through Moab will take you by Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse State Park, Monument Valley, then through Grand Canyon.
Alternatively, Utah-20, then Utah-12, which passes by Goblin Valley State Park, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.
Too bad you're tight on time. They're all spectacular drives.
Mmmmm.... Walleye. It's what's for dinner...
As Lou Reed might have said, I'm going to take a walk on the Dark Side:
Ducats to Dollars: Trade Coin sfrom the End of the Middle Ages until the 20th Century
And a mini-seminar:
The Seven Colonial Mints in Mexico (1536-1821).
Here's a link to the course catalog, if anyone's interested.
