    If you are logged in (and you would have to be to post that) then you can "like" a post, but not the entire thread.

    If you like someone's thread, just "like" their first post. (Also known as an OP for original post or original poster within a particular thread).

    put your cursor over the Like and click it

    You can always post to the thread saying how much you like it. I've done this myself saying why I like the thread---very educational, learned something new, very interesting topic, etc.

    Yes... it is acceptable to actually write a positive note about threads that you enjoy for learning things, or for humor, or an interesting story. Sometimes a good comment goes much further than a click of the mouse. Cheers, RickO
