I would guess it to be a very rare old whiskey "Old Blowhard" which is 23 years old. No longer available. Picture of my bottle is not possible at the moment, otherwise I would have sent a pic. Very tasteful gift from your very classy wife.
I am a HUGE Macallan fan. I will have to try that one and compare it to my Macallan 25 which I keep locked up in my coin safe. Thanks for the recommendation, Bruce.

He then dropped the second work in the whiskey glass. It writhed in pain for a moment, then quickly sank to the bottom and died. "Now kids, what lesson can we derive from this experiment?" he asked. Little Johnny raised his hand and wisely responded, "Drink whiskey and you won't get worms🤠
I have not tried Macallan Rare Cask... Though I have had Macallan 25 year old....Purchased a bottle of that when leaving England on my last trip. Really nice...Cheers, RickO

Well...it appears as though a LOT of you know your liquor as much(if not more) than you do coins!
I do not drink. Haven't for years, just throwing expensive guesses. I figure it will be broken in with some good stuff.
