I would guess it to be a very rare old whiskey "Old Blowhard" which is 23 years old. No longer available. Picture of my bottle is not possible at the moment, otherwise I would have sent a pic. Very tasteful gift from your very classy wife.
I am a HUGE Macallan fan. I will have to try that one and compare it to my Macallan 25 which I keep locked up in my coin safe. Thanks for the recommendation, Bruce.

Little Johnny's Chemistry teacher wanted to teach his class a lesson about the evils of liquor, so he set up an experiment that involved a glass of water, a glass of whiskey, and two worms. "Now, class. Observe what happens to the two the worms," said the professor putting the first worm in the glass of water. The worm in the water moved about, twisting and seemingly unharmed. He then dropped the second work in the whiskey glass. It writhed in pain for a moment, then quickly sank to the bottom and died. "Now kids, what lesson can we derive from this experiment?" he asked. Little Johnny raised his hand and wisely responded, "Drink whiskey and you won't get worms🤠
I have not tried Macallan Rare Cask... Though I have had Macallan 25 year old....Purchased a bottle of that when leaving England on my last trip. Really nice...Cheers, RickO

Well...it appears as though a LOT of you know your liquor as much(if not more) than you do coins!
I do not drink. Haven't for years, just throwing expensive guesses. I figure it will be broken in with some good stuff.
Is that sparkly stuff on the bottom of the drink, grated gold & silver coin shavings from the King of Siam Set for age and flavor ?

I talked her through a home repair as far as parts, tools needed, and how to fix it.
So this was just an expression of gratitude with a touch of sarcasm.

Seems I remember a thread a few years ago about your wife getting you nicely framed pics of a couple of your coins. She's a keeper.

And no, no prize was awarded then, either.
