    I really don't get the TPG's 'questionable color'.

    I have always thought that most brilliant white old (MS and circulated) coins have been dipped and most old toned coins have been played with in some fashion or another.

    I really think it would be much better for everyone if the TPG's would judge toning color on whether it is 'market acceptable' or not, rather than trying to determine if the toning is natural or artificial.

    The most common questionable color in the hobby is “blast white”.
    That said, the TPGs have to draw the line somewhere I guess.

    If that's a good strike it must have been a terrible year in Charlotte. Looks real weak to me. I am a novice at these, though.

    Liberty has a case of the blues over the planchet flaw on the reverse.

    This coin has very nice arm length eye appeal. Put a 10X glass on it not so much.
